My role :

My role in this project was that of a Game Designer, Unity Developer and Sound Designer.

I documented the mechanics and wrote them in a comprehensive document. I implemented these mechanics and coded the shaders into our Unity Project. I designed the sound interactions and mechanics, and integrated them into the project. I composed 3 musical pieces for this project and implemented them into the experience.

 

Description :

Enlighten was my first project where Narration was the main focus in Gameplay. The player explores an underground civilisation wrapped in darkness, using a special torch that allows him to illuminate his path, but also the history of the area. The tone is slow and lonely with a big focus on exploration.

The biggest Game Design challenge for this project was how to keep the player interested enough in our story that he'll explore the environment we created.
