Cracked Art

My Role :

My role in this project was that of Game Designer, Game Programmer and Sound Designer.

I designed the mechanics of the game and documented them in a comprehensive document. I programmed the game mechanics in Unity following my design. I designed the sound interactions and mechanics, and integrated them into the Unity Project.

Description :

Cracked Art is a multi-player fighting game where the players control a square shaped avatar with the ability the throw a punch from each of his sides. The players compete in an Art Gallery as pieces of art themselves to become the centre piece of the new Exposition. in a Monty Python-like universe, explore the humour and interactions with the different oeuvres. The goal of each player is to be the last one standing by ejecting all the other players out of frame.

This project is the best example I have to show about the "Golden Rule" and Iterative method of design. All choices we made were based on a set of rules that we planned at the start of conception and throughout development, we followed the "Golden Rule" by trying out different solutions, testing them and verifying whether it went with or against the rule.
